International Day of Light

16th May is UNESCO International Day of Light, a global initiative for the continued appreciation of light and its significant role across many domains. The day celebrates impact of light in science, culture, art, education, and sustainable development, as well as its contributions in diverse fields such as medicine, communications, and highway infrastructure.
